TACA AGM

Thank you sincerely to all who attended the TACA AGM at the Cromwell Arms in Bovey Tracey on Friday night.

Your presence and active engagement are truly invaluable to our mission of conserving the Teign catchment and enhancing its diverse habitats for migratory species. The discussions we shared and points raised during the evening were not only insightful, but also fostered a sense of vision and togetherness.

The convergence of such profound domain expertise in one room is truly inspiring, as each voice brings unique insights and experiences that significantly enrich our collective mission. With steadfast representatives from our project partners, the National Trust, Environment Agency, LTFA, UTFA, and West Country Rivers Trust contributing, the atmosphere was charged with a sense of unity and purpose.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our presenters, Louise Davis, Hannah Parvin, Rick Boulding and Bertie Warren, for their invaluable contributions during our recent event. Their insightful updates on the River Teign Restoration Project, alongside the vital work being undertaken by the West Country Rivers Trust, the Environment Agency and Bournemouth University regarding smolt and sea trout migration tracking, have illuminated a way forward for our efforts in the future.

Together, we are not merely discussing ideas, but actively forging a path towards the protection and enhancement of our beloved catchment.

From all of us at TACA
